inigo flufflebum is more than a frend ov mine, he's a ragdoll which means he is a brother frum another mother. sadly, today he is making teh journey to teh rainbow bridge after a long battle with a crummy illness. fortunately fur him, dat dawg sam will be there to greet him. i spent many years preparing sam so i know that inigo an him will get along great! when dat dawg sam went to the rainbow bridge, a friend sent this to mommy and in honor of mai pal inigo, i would like to post it here today and hope that it helps mai pal rumblz an teh rumblemum and rumbledad 2:
As much as i loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wonderous image then of a place that's trouble free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful - lush and green and wide;
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be.
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And i wanted to go run with them, but i had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you i'm alright,
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright glow pierced the night.
'Twas the glow of many candles, shining bright and strong and bold
And i knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no one can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If u look beyond the rainbow and listen with your heart.
i will miss u mai pal... until we meet again...xxxxxxxx
Very Brewtiful, my pal Perry. We are feelin' very sad fur Rumbles, Rumblemum and Rumbledad today fur their loss of Inigo, and it reminds us of how we felt when you lost Dat Dawg Sam. So very nice that you reprinted the poem, and so nice that Sam is there to keep Inigo company. *Brew Hugs*

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole RumbleFamily - my mom's eyes are leaking like crazy, and I know she's thinking of all our friends who have gone Over the Bridge. Our lives are so short compared to theirs... God, if You're listening, couldn't you make us kitties live a little longer? It'd be worth it, so our moms and dads would cry less.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much my friend. We're deeply touched at all the love for Inigo. He loved to be loved, and I know he and Sam will be best pals.
